This year's graduating class is doing a bottle drive to fundraise for the costs of decorations and rentals for the graduation ceremony. On January.06.2026 the bottle depot will have a trailer here at the school in the student parking lot to collect bottles for the day.
The bottle drive goes from now until May 2026 where you can bring your bottles to the Holden Bottle Depot as well and let him know that they are for the Holden Rural Academy grad class.
Any contribution to this fundraiser to help make this day extra special for our students that have worked so hard to achieve this incredible accomplishment would be greatly appreciated!
The hours for the Holden bottle depot are Tuesday and Saturday from 9am-4pm
Holden Rural Academy is doing a fundraiser for the Children's Stollery Hospital in Edmonton! Our goal is to raise $2000! Students have been given pledge forms; if they need another, they can stop by the office. We appreciate any and all donations towards this cause! To donate, come to our school or talk to your student.
We blew our goal out of the water with a grand total of 🎉NINE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED AND EIGTHY DOLLARS $9680!! 🎉
Thank you very much to anyone that was able to donate to the Stollery. Please feel free to join us for our celebration assembly on November 20th at 2:30pm!
A NEW EXPERIENCE in Education
The Holden Rural Academy is a public charter school that was approved by the Minister of Education in July 2022. We offer Place-Based Education to grade 7 – 12 students – where learning takes place in the classroom and in the community.
Our staff work together with students and families to develop an education plan that has clear expectations for academic achievement and helps students develop career goals.
After a morning devoted to core courses, students are able to choose from a variety of projects in the afternoon, many of them off-campus.
We operate on a 4 day week that runs, most often, from Monday to Thursday (with some exceptions).
Congratulations, graduates of the 2024/25 school year! May your future be ever bright.
Thank you to the staff of 2024/25 for your dedication to our students!
